1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?

Well, became a half-orphan and switched religions (or uh, picked one, I guess).

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I don�t remember what the heck I did last year for NYR's, since January kind of got blown out of the water. I am working on coming up with some resolutions, but probably not by NYE at this point.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Hm, one guy I know did, but we're not terribly close.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Yes, my dad.

5. What countries did you visit?

Hawaii's not another country, right? :)

6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?

Hm, let's quote Saturn's answer (above link): "There isn�t an online journal big enough to detail, catalog and record everything I�d like to have next year. Needless to say, it�s a long freaking list, 99% of which I won�t ever get, because it�s all nebulous and unattainable."

Also uh, what I said about figuring out the resolutions thing. I need to figure out what I want first.

7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

January 19, when Dad died.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Hmmm...I'm going to say getting the novel written that I tried to do a few years ago and bombed.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Hmmm... If I had to pick anything, I'd say that I became way less interested in my job this year, and it really bothers me.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

Sprained an ankle and a wrist in a minor sort of way, not enough to go to the doctor about. (I've learned they can't do much for you other than write a doctor's note to get out of stuff, which I didn't need.)

11. What was the best thing you bought?

God, I don't think I could pick.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?

Hm, most people, but I will give the award to Auntie Dolores and Uncle Bruce for their (overall, minus one day) good behavior in January.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?

My cousin Ron's, for being an ass in going about getting a divorce (or more like, leaving his wife utterly high and dry but not actually bothering to file).

14. Where did most of your money go?

Craft fairs and traveling.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Traveling!

Uh...the Numa Numa song. Because I heard it for the first time, was thoroughly amused, and played it a hell of a lot. (Hey, did you know there's a ballet?)
